Tour for the third year running. The Deutschland Tour is a prestigious
UCI Pro Tour event to which the famous Tour de France, Tour de Suisse,
and Giro d'Italia races also belong. Approximately 1400 gruelling kilometers
of fun, sweat and tears, from Düsseldorf to the Austrian Alps (2017m),
and finishing in Karlsruhe. Amateurs can participate in the Deutschland

2006 will be published under a new brand name, “Borch Map“. Phasing out

Berndtson maps' presence in the North American market will be underlined by Borch GmbH's participation at Book Expo America 2004 in Chicago. Kerstin Borch has presented the latest on Berndtson & Berndtson™ maps at booth 3220b in the Map Link pavilion.

Budapest, Hungary, March 1, 2003, annual IMTA Show (International Map Trade Association) -- Berndtson & Berndtson, a well-known international map publishing company, won IMTA’s “Best Folded Map“ award with their “New York City“ map at the association’s annual conference and trade show on March 1, 2003.
The prize-winning map – NEW YORK CITY – a top-of-the-range, soft-laminated tourist map from the “Berndtson City Streets“ series, was distinguished for its cartographic excellence by a panel of IMTA map experts.
The mapping covers southern/central Manhattan to Brooklyn: from beyond Central Park in the north to Prospect Park in the south (1: 15,000), with all street names, districts, highlighted shopping areas with information, hotels and “Top 30“ sights; a complete map of New York’s Five Boroughs (1: 100,000) with counties, free and toll highways, airports, beaches, golf courses and shopping centers; a map of Flushing Meadows (1: 15,000); the entire MTA NYC subway network and additionally Berndtson’s “Subway-Link“ on the street map (which simplifies subway route searches). Further features include Manhattan zipcodes, a climate chart, a key to temperature, distance and weight measurements, and a small overview map of Northeastern USA. Ground Zero is also depicted in detail. Unfolded, the map measures 49cm x 99cm, or 19.5“ x 39“.
